Autel APB112 Smart Key Emulator
The APB112 is a professional smart key emulator accessory for Autel's MaxiIM key programming platform. Its primary function is to collect data from the ignition coil, diagnose ignition coil problems, and decode the data stored in a vehicle's key chip — and then emulate that chip signal. In plain terms: when you need to program a new key and the original key is not physically present (All Keys Lost scenarios), the APB112 simulates the key transponder signal so the programming process can proceed. It is not a standalone tool — it must be used with the XP400 key programmer and a MaxiIM tablet.
Required Equipment
The APB112 requires all three of the following to function:
- Autel MaxiIM tablet (IM508, IM508S, IM608, IM608 Pro, or IM608 Pro II series)
- Autel XP400 or XP400 Pro key programmer
- APB112 Smart Key Emulator (this unit)
This is an accessory, not a complete system. If you do not already own an Autel MaxiIM tablet and XP400, you will need those as well. The APB112 adds capability to an existing MaxiIM setup.
