The CUMMINS8 adapter plugs into that port and connects to the Autel MaxiSYS MS909CV tablet and its VCI, enabling full engine diagnostics on Cummins-powered off-highway equipment. Without this adapter, the MS909CV cannot communicate with Cummins off-road machines — it is the required physical link for that coverage.
