This package provides the manufacturer-specified target patterns needed to perform static calibration of Ford 360-degree surround view camera systems after any service that disturbs camera alignment — including glass replacement, front-end collision repair, and camera-related service.
What AVM Calibration Requires
Ford's surround view systems use multiple cameras whose images are stitched together to form a seamless overhead view. Once any camera is moved, replaced, or the mounting structure is disturbed, the stitching breaks down. Static AVM calibration with the correct target patterns re-establishes the relationship between cameras and restores system function. Without proper calibration, the surround view system will display distorted or misaligned images and may store DTCs.
