Product Description
Autel MaxiSYS IA700LDW — Alignment Pre-Check + LDW ADAS (No Tablet)
The IA700LDW includes the IA700 frame and Lane Departure Warning targets — the most common ADAS calibration needed after windshield replacements and front-end repairs. A compatible MaxiSYS 909, MS919, or MS Ultra tablet and ADAS calibration software upgrade card are required separately. This is the entry point into production ADAS calibration work on the IA700 platform, suited for glass shops, small collision centers, and general repair shops where LDW camera calibrations make up the majority of ADAS work.

Minimum Space Requirements
LDW target calibrations on most vehicles require a minimum alignment bay of 10 feet behind the vehicle. For smaller spaces, the LDW package is the appropriate starting point — some all-systems calibrations (particularly radar) require significantly more room. The IA700LDW carries tags for shops as small as 24ft x 34ft, making it accessible for shops without large dedicated calibration bays.
IA700LDW vs IA700AS
If LDW camera calibrations are 80% or more of your ADAS work, the LDW package covers what you need at lower cost. The IA700AS adds radar, lidar, AVM, and night vision hardware for shops that need to handle any ADAS system type. You can add all-systems components later if your work mix shifts.
IA700 Platform Core Features
Fully Optical Target Placement — 6x Faster Than Mechanical
The IA700 uses six high-definition cameras embedded in the frame's crossbar, combined with camera-equipped tire clamps, to optically determine the exact position of targets and patterns relative to the vehicle. The MaxiSYS tablet calculates current angle, distance, and offset, and displays easy-to-follow instructions for frame adjustments. Green checkmarks confirm each parameter when correct position is reached. This eliminates the tape measure and manual measurement approach entirely — Autel states the optical system reduces setup time by 6x versus mechanical measurements.
Robotic Crossbar with Automatic Height Adjustment
Six HD tracking cameras in the removable crossbar monitor tire clamp target positions. The robotic frame movement sets the vertical calibration position automatically to 0.02° accuracy — the same spec as the IA1000. No manual cranking to estimate heights.
Integrated Wheel Alignment Pre-Check
Every IA700 package includes wheel alignment pre-check. Before performing any ADAS calibration, the system optically measures the vehicle's current alignment specifications and compares them against OEM tolerances. If the vehicle is within spec, the technician can proceed to calibration with confidence. If not, the system flags it. This is a critical step — misaligned vehicles produce inaccurate and potentially unsafe ADAS calibrations, and the alignment pre-check generates a documented report showing the vehicle was within OEM tolerances before calibration began.
Unlevel Floor Compensation
Not every shop floor is perfectly level, and mobile calibration adds additional surface variability. The IA700 compensates for unlevel floors — you select the surface type (level, unlevel, or on a rack) and the system accounts for it. This eliminates failed calibrations due to floor conditions, which is a real problem with systems that require a perfectly level surface.
Quick Disassembly for Mobile Use
The IA700 breaks down into 5 primary parts in under 90 seconds for transport between bays or between shops. The included dust cover protects the system when stored. For shops that do mobile ADAS calibration at dealerships, body shops, or fleet locations, the IA700's portability is a genuine operational advantage.
Target and System Compatibility
The IA700 uses the same targets, patterns, and calibration components as Autel's MA600 and IA900 systems. If your shop already operates an MA600 or IA900, an IA700 adds a second calibration bay without purchasing a second complete set of targets — existing targets work on both systems. For MA600 users, the IA700 adds optical positioning and alignment pre-check, a meaningful upgrade in speed and accuracy.
Tablet Compatibility
The IA700 requires a MaxiSYS 909, MS919, or MS Ultra tablet plus an ADAS calibration software upgrade card for static and dynamic calibration coverage. Packages with a "T" suffix include the MaxiSYS 909 S2 tablet; packages without "T" require you to supply a compatible tablet separately.
