Autel MaxiBAS BT508 Battery and Electrical System Tester
The Autel MaxiBAS BT508 is a step up from the entry-level BT506 — adding a wireless Bluetooth VCI that enables battery and electrical component registration across 53 vehicle makes, plus full code reading and erasing across all available vehicle systems. Like the BT506, it pairs with a free iOS or Android app for test display, but it brings meaningfully more capability to the battery service workflow.
How It Works
The BT508 uses the same Adaptive Conductance technology as the rest of the MaxiBAS line — measuring actual cold cranking ability and reserve capacity rather than just voltage, giving technicians an accurate read on battery health and reducing misdiagnosis. The BT508 connects via the attached cable and battery clamps, pairs to your phone or tablet via Bluetooth, and the included VCI module enables battery registration functions directly through the app.
