Product Description
Autel MaxiSYS MS919 — Advanced Diagnostic Tablet with 5-in-1 VCMI
The Autel MaxiSYS MS919 is an 11-inch professional diagnostic tablet that includes the MaxiFLASH VCMI — a 5-in-1 vehicle communication and measurement device combining a VCI, J2534 pass-through programmer, 4-channel oscilloscope, multimeter, CAN bus tester, and waveform generator in a single compact unit. This is the tool for shops that need both advanced diagnostics and the ability to do real electrical diagnostic work without pulling out a separate oscilloscope.
Note: The manufacturer page returned for this SKU is the MS919 S2 (the current-generation replacement). The MS919 is the prior generation of the same platform. Key hardware differences are noted below. The diagnostic software capabilities are substantively the same.
Who This Tool Is For
The MS919 belongs in shops where technicians regularly diagnose electrical problems that require waveform analysis: misfire diagnostics using ignition scope patterns, injector signal testing, CAN bus signal integrity checks, or sensor signal verification. Having the oscilloscope built into the VCI rather than as a separate tool means you can run scope tests and live scan data simultaneously on the same screen.
If your shop does straightforward diagnostic work without scope testing, the MS909 line covers that at lower cost. The MS919 justifies its premium when technicians actually use the scope.
MaxiFLASH VCMI — 5-in-1 Device
The VCMI included with the MS919 is more than a VCI:
- VCI — standard wireless vehicle communication interface with full protocol support
- J2534 pass-through — OEM software-based module programming and reflashing
- 4-channel oscilloscope — measure and display electrical waveforms; diagnose ignition, injection, sensor, and actuator signals
- Waveform generator — generate test signals for circuit testing
- Multimeter — voltage, resistance, current measurements without a separate meter
- CAN bus tester — verify CAN bus signal integrity and diagnose network communication faults
Diagnostic Capabilities
- Full OE-level system access — all modules, all systems on 1996 and newer U.S., Asian, and European vehicles
- Bi-directional control — actuator tests, component activation

Considering the MS919 S2 Instead?
The MS919 S2 is the current generation replacement for the MS919. It adds Android 13, a 2.7 GHz 8-core processor, 12GB RAM, 256GB storage, Wi-Fi 6.0, an 11-inch anti-glare display at 2176x1600, and an upgraded VCMI2 with improved protocol support. If you are buying new, the MS919 S2 is worth comparing — we carry both and can advise on current availability and pricing.
