The Autel CSC1004-01 is an Around View Monitor (AVM) calibration pattern package for Volkswagen vehicles. This pattern package is used with an Autel ADAS calibration system to perform static calibration of VW 360-degree surround view camera systems after windshield replacement, camera repositioning, or any service that disturbs the factory camera alignment.
What AVM Calibration Requires
360-degree surround view systems stitch together feeds from multiple cameras — typically front, rear, and both sides. When any of those cameras are disturbed (via body work, glass replacement, or sensor service), the system loses its calibration and the stitched image distorts. Proper static AVM calibration using manufacturer-specified target patterns restores the system to OEM spec and clears any associated DTCs.
