It attaches to the center of the IA1000 frame crossbar and provides the mounting point for either a digital target monitor display or a physical target board — specifically for vehicle-camera calibrations that require three targets simultaneously (one on each side arm plus one in the center).
What This Mounting Plate Does
The Autel IA1000 frame supports multi-target calibration setups. For calibrations requiring three targets — left side, center, and right side — the two outer positions use the standard side arm mounts, while the center position requires this dedicated mounting plate attached to the crossbar. Without CSC050A-17, you cannot set up the three-target configuration the IA1000 supports for certain camera calibration procedures.
